Pastor Kristen Burkhart
Please Join Us: Pastor Kristen’s Book Club will begin on June 26th at 5:30pm, as part of our adult education opportunities. (We will meet at the church for our first gathering but then would like to have host homes to visit.) The Book Club will meet on the fourth Thursday of every month, except November when we will meet on the third Thursday.
Why join a book club?
1. Christian Community and fun. (Invite a friend.)
2. Reading is good for your brain. (Benefit older adults with keep the brain engaged and younger adults with continue education.)
3. Connections, New Perspectives, and Conversations. (Good for all ages to learn from each other and improve your critical thinking.)
4. Accountability and Motivation. (Finally reach your reading goals for the year.)
5. Make friends and live longer. (It is a low-pressure way to connect with others.)
Read ahead. Listen while you drive, walk, clean the house (my favorite choice), or work in the yard. Attend the months that you are interested in or commit to all the months for this second half of this year. We hope you will find a way to join us
