Welcome to Dandridge First UMC's Parents Day Out program!
Our goal is to provide a healthy, Christian atmosphere for pre-school-aged children to play and learn. Children in our program have the opportunity to explore and socialize through activities such as storytelling, crafts, music, and free play.
Our program is parttime. We serve students either on Mon/Wed OR Tues/Thurs. We have classrooms for children aged 6 months through age 5 (pre-kindergarten). We operate with similar dates as the Jefferson Co Public Schools - although our start/end dates vary slightly.
Our staff receives annual Safe Sanctuaries training, and staff members partake in CPR training every even-numbered year.
All of our classes are FULL at this time for the 2025-26 school year, but we welcome you to join our waitlist. If you wish to join PDO in the 2026-27 school year, you should also fill out the waitlist form, as we use that list for open spots throughout the year and as we fill classes for new school years.
Those on the waitlist will be reached out to, via email, at the start and end of each semester to confirm their spot on the waitlist. This process will start in August of 2025.
If you have added your child, but have found other childcare and no longer need to be on the list, please alert us immediately so that our waitlist can be as up-to-date as possible.
