Where: Marion, VA @ Project Crossroads
Why: because we are called to attend to the needs of others
We are so thrilled to go back to Project Crossroads for our bi-annual mission trip! We previously partnered with Project Crossroads in 2015 and have since served in other locations. Now, we are eager to serve alongside this ministry of the Holston Conference again!
While we don’t yet have final details on our specific project, we anticipate that our skills will be matched with projects such as painting, staining, pressure washing, repairing decks, or building accessibility ramps. This trip doesn’t require expertise in building projects - just a willingness to learn and a desire to serve God’s people!
On a DFUMC mission trip, we serve daily, except for Sunday when we worship with a local church, do Bible studies as a large group, eat and sleep in provided housing, and fellowship together. This is a trip focused on hard work, on sharing God’s love through action, and on growing spiritually. Join us!
